Amber
was brought into care as a tiny 170 gram possum after her mother lost a fight
with a dog. Amber took a while to grow but as she did she made a friend "Darnie"
(Photo attached) they didnt need their carer anymore as they discovered how
to be little possums preparing themselves for the Free world. After 3 or so
months for care in the outside aviary they were ready for their big day. So
finally the release day came and the pair of scared but inside confident possums
were placed into their box which was their home from the aviary up in a big
beautiful Gum tree. That was it they were free!!! I checked on them a week or
so later but they had adventured out into the big wide world.
